we have had snow ! as quickly as it came it disappeared, woke up this morning after heavy rain fall there is now No trace, well lots of flooding but thats nothing new,Here are some photos from the two week cold snap

This is my first post in a long while I have done a few photoshoots and weddings inbetween, but 2012 has been a difficult year for me due to some setbacks in my health, but as you can see I am back and available for wedding bookings for the year 2013  I hope to post some of the previous weddings and projects  here very soon to udate everyone on the work I have done in the past year.

Here is a small collection of the many photos taken of my own children a few years back now. I have had plenty of practise photographing young children both my own and other peoples, and being a mum and an artist I have quiet a good understanding of how to capture those special moments as they unfold, just by being a quiet observer with the occasional interaction.

Fearnes Christmas Photoshoot

Photographing Fearne Proved to be a bit more Tricky this time as she is now up on her feet and fully mobile, But I think we still got some nice photos, I have come to the conclusion after a few toddler shoots this year that they are much more suited to being outdoors and not the studio environment as they are more into exploring and are certainly not happy to stay in one place, they get easily distracted and are not able to understand what you would like them to do, same as the doggies really, well they do say working with animals and or children is a challenge and never do it, haha.

To be honest I prefer natural photos in the great outdoors, capturing a happy inquisitive child at play, so if you have a toddler or a dog or both or even more than one or two and you wish to book a session with me just bear this in mind. but dont let it put you off its always fun, there are endless creative possibilities and ways of capturing stunning pictures of your little darlings. and if we dont get the wonderful shots you are after we can always try another day at no extra expense to you.
