A Truly Vintage Affair

I was invited to spend  a Glorious Sunny Afternoon Photographing A vintage Affair at Hedingham Castle on Sunday, it was lovely to see the crowds of people gathered together for this colourful jolly event held in association with Juniper Flowers of Sudbury in such a lovely location.

The event Featured the Galaxy Big Band who performed forties style swing Jive and Jazz music along with the Cambs & Beds Lindy Hop Experience who
provided the dancing entertainment,
between them, the vintage vehicles, the array of stalls selling many interesting items from days gone by,
 fabulous food and  fantastic sunshine.
It was 'A Truly Vintage Affair' for all to enjoy young
and old alike and a pleasure to capture.

Photoshoot for Millie and her Family

Millie Brown is a four year old little girl from Halstead, Essex. Until recently she was healthy and running around, being mischievous just like any other four year old. On Monday 14th April 2014 she was admitted to Colchester Hospital where a CT scan revealed a Brain Tumour.

She was immediately admitted to Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge where a further MRI scan confirmed it was an inoperable Brain Stem Tumour. Millie began a three week course of radiotherapy on Monday 28th April 2014. They hope is that the treatment will prolong Millie's life. A Facebook page has been set up to help raise money for Millie to ensure that her life is magical and happy.
please visit and take a look at Millie's page and her website

The All About dogs Show

Trinity park Ipswich

We had a great time last Saturday at the Suffolk all about dogs show, I brought the kids and dog along and we entered a few classes in the fun  dog show

Loosey and Ben came first in the loveliest lady Class which then led her to be entered into the Best in Show which she won too so a good day was had by all, whilst the kids were showing the dogs I had a wander round and chatted to a few dog owners and took a few photos which I have put onto my websites online gallery for anyone to view and purchase if they wish. link here All About Dogs Show Trinity Park Ipswich Gallery photos include show dogs and the K9 Aqua Sports, which we managed to catch the end of before we left.

Geoffrey & Anna

The Wedding of Geoffrey and Anna
Saturday 18th May
at at St Marys Church Stowmarket

Way back in May I attended Geoffrey and Anna's Wedding, I Arrived at Anna's  parents house on Saturday morning to photograph her preparations, it was a full house lots going on,lots of children and plenty of subject  to take photos of.

three photos above taken by K,Pedell

The weather was overcast so there was a possibility of rain but we were very lucky all day and the rain held off, no sun and rather chilly but no rain either, which is a good thing at a wedding because nobody really  wants to be standing around in the rain to have their photo taken

.we had plenty of time to get some photographs of the bride and bridesmaids once they were all dressed up
At 2.00pm after a couple of photos of the bride leaving the house with her dad we went off ahead of her to get to the church to get some quick photos of Geoffrey and his best man and the guests arriving before the ceremony, hoping all was going to go ok because we had heard that the reverent couldn't get the church door open, unbeknown to the bride, but all was fine and went to plan, the bride arrived, the door was unlocked and the ceremony began.

Half of the parties group photos were taken at the church and the rest it was decided were to be taken at
Ringshall village hall where the reception was to be held  because the the church was on a hill and the ground very uneven

The reception was held  five miles up the road , we followed the bride and groom and stopped off up a secluded track near to an airfield as arranged to get some nice photos of the newly weds together in the beautiful yellow oilseed rape fields  which are a familiar sight in the Suffolk countryside at that time of year, overcast skies helped to create a dramatic setting for the couple

After a break at reception we finished the group photos on the green outside and came in to capture some of the speeches and cake cutting
